The Unreasonable Institute is a mentor-intensive acceleration program for young entrepreneurs hungry to tackle the world’s greatest social and environmental problems. Started by five alumni from the University of Colorado at Boulder, the program unites twenty to thirty entrepreneurs for a summer in Boulder where they live together under the same roof and receive entrepreneurial training, access to seed capital, and mentorship from over sixty experienced entrepreneurs and investors. The goal of the Institute is to enable its entrepreneurs to launch social ventures that not only serve social and environmental needs, but also are financially self-sustaining and globally scalable to at least one million beneficiaries.
Unreasonable TV documents the life at the Unreasonable Institute, highlighting the struggles and the stories of our entrepreneurs as they work to create ventures future generations will remember as having defined progress in our time. This is done through web-based distribution of 8-10 minute “webisodes,” interviews with fellows and mentors, and the culminating Global Summit pitch event videos.
The Unreasonable Institute is one of our finest works, so we hope you enjoy!
